INSCRIBED MODEL 1872 CAVALRY OFFICERS SABER. 31-1/2” blade inscribed, “AMES SWORD COMPANY, CHICOPEE MASS. CONDITION: Blade is excellent with etched panels including “US” and an American eagle. Sharkskin grip is intact with broken wire repaired with finishing nails. Plated brass-mounted scabbard lacks drag but is inscribed between top mounts, “LT.
