DECORATED TIFFANY VASE.

DECORATED TIFFANY VASE. Outstanding brown favrile vase has gold iridescent neck with decorative zigzag lines of green and brown. Iridescence on shoulder of brown vase has highlights of blues and purples. Signed on bottom “LC Tiffany Favrile 8704G”. Rising from one of the tips of the brown zigzag lines is a tiny thread of colored glass extending upward towards the lip. When initially viewed, we had thought the line to be a crack, but upon closer investigation and magnification we find that it is merely an extended line of colored glass, obviously done in the manufacture. The green zigzag point adjacent to this brown point has a similar, but much less noticeable phenomenon. SIZE: 8″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-68894 (3,500-4,500)
