MAGNIFICENT EMPIRE CARVED PERIOD MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD. Spectacular example of an Empire mahogany sideboard is full length with wide central drawer and two matching drawers along side. Below is a half round pair of center drawers. Doors open to reveal one large compartment, each side fitted with flat doors. Piece supported on four frontal columns of pineapple and acanthus leaf design, all resting on four heavily carved paw foot base. Top fitted with matching mahogany carved mirror with carved supporting posts conforming to the base. An outstanding Empire piece. SIZE: 63” h to top of mirror x 6’3” w x 24” d.
