Contained in a folding leather carrier. 17 examples including: US fractional currency bill for 50 cents, bearer bonds for 15 and 10 cents both issued in 1862, a $5 bearer bond from the Farmer’s and Exchange Bank of Charleston, S.C., Confederate States of America bills in various denominations ranging from $1 to $100 and dated from 1861-1864. PROVENANCE: From a Harpswell, Maine home. SIZE: 7-1/4” x 3-1/4” dimensions of largest bill. CONDITION: Overall in very worn and fragile condition. 9-90086 MD (300-500)
