OUTSTANDING INLAID WRITING BOX ON STAND. Writing box having a slant lid which opens to reveal a six drawer interior, each fitted with a small white knob. Interior having decorative hand painted wall paper. Outside lavishly inlaid with geometric shapes in differing light and dark colored woods. Front having molded edge diamond panels, intricate inlays and diamond ivory escutcheon. Base with tapered leg design having an H-stretcher is a new addition.
