RUSSIAN SILVER CHATELAINE. Wonderful silver chatelaine has ornately cast body with a warrior holding a water vessel at the top of the chatelaine. Small links are comprised of shields with fox and human heads. Chatelaine is set with pearls and turquoise cabochons. One chain holds a pencil, one a seal and one a perfume puff. Clasp is hallmarked “84” with a maker’s mark that is not completely discernible. SIZE: 9” l. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-64613 (3,000-4,000)
