HIGHLY DECORATED KENTUCKY HALF STOCK RIFLE. NSN. 44 Cal. 33” oct. bbl. There are no markings on the lock or bbl. There are 21 German silver inlays to decorate the gun. There are cheek pieces on both sides of the stock. The artificially striped ramrod is probably a replacement. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina with light to moderate pitting on the bbl, moderate on the lock. Stock has been broken and repaired in front of the lockplate and refinished in that same area. Inlays are fine. Set triggers are working, but the mainspring is broken so the lock is not functional. 4-59250 FS740 (1,250-1,750)
