NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE CHERRY BONNET TOP HIGHBOY. PROBABLY COASTAL CONNECTICUT. In two parts, the upper case with molded swans neck cornice with full bonnet, centering three onion finials, and fitted with two short drawers centering a deep drawer over a pair of aligned short drawers above three graduated thumb molded long drawers, joined to the waisted lower case fitted with a single drawer above three aligned short drawers, all with thumb molded edges, raised on tapered cabriole legs with scalloped returns on spoon pad feet centering an arcaded apron. PROVENANCE: From a fine Yarmouth, Maine home. SIZE: 85” h x 40” w x 23” d. CONDITION: Older cleaned surface, good color, old hardware in original holes, the whole with chestnut and oak secondary wood, overall very good condition. 9-74459 FP (15,000-25,000)
