NEW YORK WINDSOR SACK-BACK ARMCHAIR. Late 18th century. The bowed crest rail above seven spindles joined to the mid-rail with flattened hand grips joined to the shaped saddle seat, raised on bulbous baluster-turned splayed legs joined by a similarly turned H-form stretcher. Original surfaces with worn black/brown paint. SIZE: 34-3/4″ h. of back. 16-3/4″ h. of seat. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Chad Richards, Camden, Maine.
