ATTRIBUTED TO HUANG DASHEN (Chinese 18th Century) NURSING THE BABY. Rare and outstanding oil on canvas Chinese scene shows a mother nursing an infant while lying on a brown floor with hand holding her head up. Another woman is seated behind. A blue curtain like background with flower decorated border top. Unsigned. Housed in a mahogany molded wood frame. The canvas is unstretched and lies freely against backboard. CANVAS SIZE: 17” x 22”. CONDITION: Very good fine craquelure and there are several pieces of tape affixed to reverse of canvas. 9-74877 HP (12,000-16,000)
