PAIRPOINT VENETIAN HARBOR LAMP. Massive Chesterfield shaped lamp depicts a Venetian harbor scene in vibrant hues. Top of shade is painted to resemble a Venetian tapestry in equally vibrant colors. Shade is supported by a Pairpoint tree trunk base. Base is signed “Pairpoint Mfg. Co. 3097” and a “P” in a diamond. This lamp appears to be the same example referenced in Pairpoint Lamps by Malakoff, page 89. PROVENANCE: Collection of Ed & Sheila Malakoff. SIZE: Shade is 14” dia. Overall height is 23”. CONDITION: Base has been reconfigured post-factory. Otherwise very good to excellent. 5-63056 (3,000-5,000)
