HILLIARD FOWLING PIECE. Cal. 12 ga. 38-3/4″ rnd bbl, marked “B.H. HILLIARD / CORNISH. / N.H. / NO 1531” on top of the bbl. There is a “CT” cartouche on the left side of the bbl. The lock is unmarked. A deer inlay is on the cheekpiece. The rear triggerguard screw is stripped out. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina overall with scattered light pitting except at the drum where it is quite heavy. Wood has minor handling marks. Action is fine. 4-52789 FS197 (800-1,200)
