SMALL FRAME VOLCANIC PISTOL. SN 1707. Cal. 31. 3-3/4” oct. bbl. The follower and spring are replacements. Marked “NEW HAVEN CONN. / PATENT FEB 14. 1854” on top of bbl. CONDITION: Scant traces of finish on the bbl. The trigger spring is a replacement. Grips are well worn with chips missing at the base and initial stamped in the bottom. The brass has numerous dents and scratches with rubbed areas on the left side. Action is good. X12 4-48418 (3,000-5,000)
