MOLDED AND CUT SHEET COPPER BANNERETTE WEATHERVANE. The rectangular banner with pierced oval medallion and crenellated end joined by a framework of rods terminating in spheres with ridged midlines. PROVENANCE: From the collection of John Kenneth Byard (Connecticut, 1886-1959). SIZE: 21-1/2” h x 24-1/2” l. CONDITION: Retains remnants of old gilded surface, one bullet hole in front, with minor tears in sheet work, otherwise very good. 9-90107 SM (600-1,000)
