REMINGTON BEALS PATENT FIRST MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 31. SN: 956 on the triggerguard, 936 on the bottom of the bbl and on the grip. 3″ octagonal bbl. The cylinder pin is a replacement and does not have a number. Marked “REMINGTONS / ILION. N. Y.” on top of the frame and “F. BEALS PATENT / JUNE 24.’56 & MAY 26.’57” on top of the bbl. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina with surface rust mostly on the cylinder, light pitting elsewhere. Grips are fine. Action is fine. 4-52982 FS247 (400-700)
