SCARCE STATE OF MAINE SLANT-LID SECRETARY. This three-drawer mahogany veneered country early 19th century secretary, with flat panel sides, three bead molded drawers and nice bold turned Sheraton legs is fitted with a removable top. The top is fitted with two mahogany veneered doors, which open to reveal five-drawers and a five-compartment interior. The three full drawers in the base are fitted with replacement Victorian brasses. SIZE: 42”w x 54-1/2”h x 19-1/2”d. CONDITION: Top left door with cracked panel and the right side of desk with drying split. The desk retains what looks to be possibly the original finish. 9-28092 (1,750-2,750)
