HANDEL BOUDOIR LAMP. Unusual closed-top winter scenic lamp, obverse painted trees with reverse painted sunset background. Signed “Handel Co 2719” and “T.” on the inside of the shade. Shade rests on tree-form base with good patina and four-arm spider. Original socket shell with replaced guts. Possibly signed under the original green felt. SIZE: Shade is 8-1/4” dia. Overall height is 13-1/2”. CONDITION: Several chips to shade rim. Wear to interior background paint near signature and scratches to interior paint under the top, otherwise very good to excellent. Base patina and condition is very good to excellent. 5-63623 (3,000-5,000)
