LINDSAY 2-SHOT POCKET PISTOL. Cal. 41. SN 118. Usual configuration with 4” flat side fluted top bbl with oct bottom, brass frame with 2-pc walnut grips. The bbl flats and frame have usual foliate arabesque pattern engravings with standard markings on the bbl. It is accompanied by its original 2-pc partitioned cardboard box which contains the pistol, a fine dbl sided Colt type eagle flask, an unusual brass nutcracker bullet mold with oval cavity having a deep grease groove. Also included is an iron ramrod and a felt swab in a wire handle and a spare hammer spring. The inside of the lid has an attached label with advertising and instructions for this pistol. CONDITION: Pistol is fine to very fine with the bbl retaining about 70% glossy blue with the balance flaked to light patina. Frame retains a medium mustard patina and the grips retain virtually all of their original varnish. Box has worn edges and corners with some losses of the black paper covering on the lid, otherwise is sound. Flask is crisp and retains about 95% of its original finish. Mold is also crisp and the other pieces and parts are fine. 4-52964 JR721 (3,500-5,000)
