LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY CARVED WOODEN GIRAFFE FIGURE. Probably an ornamentation on an early carousel. Carving is wonderfully detailed, particularly the side of the head. Probably originally gilt but now with a very, very old nice coat of paint. SIZE: Approximately 40” h x 24” at widest. CONDITION: Paint loss and some chips to wood.
