ROBBINS & LAWRENCE PEPPERBOX. Cal. 28. SN 5073. 3-5/8” fluted bbls, marked “ROBBINS & LAWRENCE CO.” in one flute, “WINDSOR.VT” in the next, and “PATENT. 1849.” in the next. Note the additional vents for the nipples cut in the periphery of the bbls. The only engraving on this pistol is on top of the bbl release. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned to a gray patina with scattered light pitting remaining. Rosewood grips have minor chips at the bottom of the left side and a repaired crack through the grip screw on the right. Mechanically good. 4-52007 FS71 (350-600)
