ROBBINS & LAWRENCE PEPPERBOX. Cal. 31. SN 5549. 4-1/2” ribbed bbls, marked “ROBBINS & LAWRENCE CO.” in one rib, “WINDSOR.VT” in the next, and “PATENT. 1849.” in the next. The bbl hinge and catch have been replaced. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina overall with moderate surface rust and pitting. Grips are somewhat battered but retain some original varnish. Mechanically needs work. 4-52014 FS80 (300-500)
