LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE CARVED AND PAINTED AMERICAN EAGLE WITH FLAG AND BANNER. The carved and gilded spread winged eagle, an indigo banner painted “E. Pluribus Unum” in white lettering and gripping the U.S. shield in its talons, carved from a solid pine board, eagle’s head applied. SIZE: 25” overall h x 72-1/2” wing span. CONDITION: Surface appears original with good patina, blue stars on white ground in shield probably re-painted; now flaking.
