TULA ARSENAL COPY OF SMITH & WESSON 1ST MODEL RUSSIAN REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Russian. Nickel finish, 7-1/16” keyhole ribbed bbl with Cyrillic address and the number 2806 on the rib. Pinned half moon steel sight blade and smooth 2-pc walnut grips with a lanyard loop in the butt. SN 2806. CONDITION: Fine, appears to be assembled from parts as everything is mismatched. Frame retains 85-90% strong bright nickel, bbl and cylinder appear to be a cleaned metal color. There are two or three replaced screws and others are battered. Grips have a stress crack in the right side. Bore is bright and shiny with scattered light pitting, mechanics are stiff. 4-47933 JR43 (Anderson Collection) (500-1,000)
