CARVED HOODED BLACK DUCK DECOY BY GUS WILSON OF SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE. Typical Wilson style with inleaded head, raised wings and carved beak. Eyes originally were carved but now with glass inserts. Retains initials on the bottom, probably of the original owner together with a piece of the old lead weight. Old working dark repaint. SIZE: 16” l. CONDITION: Early patch on side of head, a few splits in the neck. 9-71863 (1,750-2,750)
