SMITH & WESSON #3 AMERICAN 2ND MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 44RF. Nickel finish, 8” keyhole ribbed bbl, 2-pc smooth walnut grips, replacement front sight. The lanyard stud hole has a plug screw. SN 31944. CONDITION: Good. Retains most of a poor re-nickel with some scattered light pitting. Bbl, latch and cylinder are all matching numbered however, the frame assembly number was removed during refinish. Grips are numbered 20391 and retain most of an old refinish with a stress fracture inside the left grip.
