ROBBINS & LAWRENCE PEPPERBOX. Cal. 31. SN 6346. 4-1/2” part octagonal fluted bbls, marked “ROBBINS & LAWRENCE CO.” in one flute, “WINDSOR.VT” in the next, “PATENT. 1849.” in the next. The bbls hinge is solid with three lugs on the frame and two on the bottom of the bbl. The bbl unscrews for loading. CONDITION: Fine. 60% original brown on the bbls and strong traces of blue on the frame. Rosewood grips are also fine with minor scratches. Action is good. 4-52009 FS70 (1,000-1,500)
