SMITH & WESSON #3 AMERICAN TRANSITION LARGE FRAME REVOLVER. Cal. 44 American. Nickel finish, 8” keyhole ribbed bbl, 1-line address, 2-pc walnut grips not numbered to this revolver. Lanyard ring stud has been replaced with a screw. SN 7141. CONDITION: Good. Traces of original nickel remain in sheltered areas only, having been cleaned to a bare metal now beginning to patinate. Grips are fine and fit almost perfectly. Fine mechanically but the cylinder stop a little weak. Strong bright bore. 4-47911 JR19 (Anderson Collection) (1,250-1,750)
