The Commonwealth of Massachusetts document appointing James Endicott Esquire of Stoughton “Justice to Keep the Peace”. Signed at bottom “John Hancock” twice as Governor and dated February 11, 1785. Also signed “John Avery Secretary”. SIZE: Document is 16-3/4” x 11”. CONDITION: Toning to paper. The document has ripped at the fold lines and has brittle and chipped edges. 9-29723 (1,000-2,000)
