COLT RICHARDS MASON CONVERSION MODEL 1861 NAVY REVOLVER. SN 6953, matching numbers except cylinder #3938 and wedge, which has no number. Cal. 38 CF. 7-1/2” rnd bbl. Standard Colt markings on bbl, frame and cylinder including the two line patent marking on the left side of the frame. This revolver is pictured in McDowell’s book pp 553-555. CONDITION: Strong traces of casehardening on the flats of the frame and blue on the bbl in protected places. Grips have been cleaned and reoiled. Action is fine.
