RARE GEBRUDER HEUBACH LADY DOLL. The bisque socket head is incised “35 42”. Normally found only as a shoulderhead doll, it is rare to find it in the socket head version. She has blue glass inset eyes, open mouth with four upper teeth, long aqualine nose, and is on her original 5-piece composition body, which is jointed at the shoulders and hips. She also has molded painted stockings with boots with molded heel. She is originally dressed in brown mohair wig with brown cotton print dress, white linen apron, perhaps to represent a house servant. SIZE: 11″ (28 cm) CONDITION: Excellent, minor paint flaking on black painted boots. 1-8380 RS (2,000-2,500)
