FINE FRENCH AUTOMATION OF A LADY WITH EGG. When activated, the young lady taps the egg that she is holding with a cymbal and the top of the egg opens revealing a glass-eyed monkey peeking out. The head has blue paperweight eyes and is made of bisque with a closed mouth and marked “M1” on rear. Clothing is made of silk, and if not original, shows some age. SIZE: 4-1/2” x 4” x 16”.
