RARE ARSENAL POWDER TESTER. 13-5/8” overall with 2-5/8” diameter wheel, graduated from 5 to 35. Right side of the wheel stopper has the Belgian pylon proof mark, and the “star/F” mark of Francotte. Wood handle has brass collar. Touchhole is brass. These large testers were usually used in arsenals and gun shops, which tested large quantities of powder. CONDITION: Gray patina overall with scattered spots of live rust and light pitting. 8-87469 FS108 (1,500-3,000)
