ADAMS MILITIA MUSKET. Cal. 69. 41-3/4″ rnd bbl. The lock is marked “I / ADAMS.” No Adams is known to have made militia muskets and this has no other marks. CONDITION: Very good. Light brown patina on bbl mixed with light surface rust. Lock casehardening has mostly silvered out with scattered spots of light surface rust. Wood shows no wear but there is a short crack at the tip of the plate. 4-52798 FS198 (2,000-3,000)
