FLINTLOCK MILITARY STYLE MUSKET. CAL. 80. 37-1/2” rnd bbl. The sporting style lock with roller on the frizzen spring appears to be original to this small copy of a Brown Bess. The stock appears to be cherry and this is possibly an American made musket. There are no visible marks except the number 11 engraved on the thumb piece. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina on the bbl. Lockplate has been cleaned white but some pitting remains. Wood is generally good with a light crack at the rear lockplate screw. Lock is good. 4-52658 FS157 (2,500-3,500)
