IMPORTANT NEW HAMPSHIRE ISSUED FRENCH MODEL 1763 CHARLESVILLE MUSKET. Cal. 73. 45” rnd bbl, marked “NH1BN.o23-1” on the left side of the bbl over the French proof marks. The initials “A.R.” are carved on the left side of the stock and “SxI” on the right side. The lockplate has the French proof mark over “St ETIENNE”. The usual marks are on small pieces. CONDITION: Smooth gray patina with light pitting overall, heavier around the touchhole. Wood has been cleaned but is solid. Lock is fine. 4-52655 FS114 (8,000-12,000)
