UNSIGNED (English, First half of the 19th Century) PORTRAITS OF A MAN AND A WOMAN. Pastel on paper portraits show a man with blue formal coat and plaid vest with white shirt and black cravat. The woman has a black dress with lace collar and she wears a red shawl over arms. Her pink bonnet has decorative ruffled ends. She also wears gold earrings, necklaces and slide chain. Identically housed in period gilt feather decorated frames. SIZE: 15-1/2” x 13”. CONDITION: Generally very good. 9-29047 (800-1200)
