*WINCHESTER MODEL 54 BOLT ACTION SPORTING CARBINE. Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). SN 31184A. Standard grade carbine with 20” rnd bbl, pedestal mounted front sight with European style 2-leaf express sight. The wood is nicely figured American walnut, uncheckered, 1- pc stock with grasping groove forestock and semi-pistol grip with serrated steel buttplate. It has sheet metal floorplate with integral trigger guard stamped “30”. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl and receiver retain 96-97% strong bright original blue, the trigger guard and floorplate retain about 94-95% thin blue. Wood is sound with minor handling and use marks and retains most of its original factory varnish. Good mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-52738 JR473 (500-1,000)
