AMERICAN CARVED PINE EAGLE PLAQUE. 1st half 20th century. This gilt and paint-decorated example rendered with spread wings and tail, the eagle clutching a shield with stars and stripes. SIZE: Wingspan: 25-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good original condition, with appropriate patina. Small shrinkage crack at top of shield, otherwise very good. 9-95588 (1,000-2,000)
