HANDEL METAL OVERLAY TABLE LAMP. Beautiful 22″ Handel metal overlay shade has outstanding serpentine bent carmel slag panels with green slag paneled borders. Carmel slag is overlaid with bronze-tone grillwork while green border is overlaid with floral spray design. Flowers and leaves in border are painted with red and green. Shade is signed on the ring “HANDEL LAMPS PAT’D NO. 979064”. Bronze tone base is flowing Art Nouveau design and is signed on edge of foot “HANDEL”. SIZE: Overall height 24 1/2″ tall. CONDITION: Shade has two cracked border panels and some minor solder repairs to panel tabs, otherwise very good. Base has some very minor blistering; otherwise finish is very good. Lamp has been rewired; one socket and two pull chains have been replaced. 5-67575 (7,500-9,000)
