*ROSS MODEL 10 SPORTING RIFLE. Cal. 280 Ross. SN 15952. Straight pull sporting rifle with 26” tapered rnd bbl, sleeve military style front sight with folding express type rear sight and a receiver mounted spring-loaded tiny peep sight. It is mounted in a nicely figured walnut stock with schnable tip and coarse checkered forestock and capped pistol grip with and old Red Head waffle pad. It has sling swivels. CONDITION: Very fine. Metal retains 95-97% strong bright original blue with minor light muzzle and edge wear. Wood is sound with minor handling and use marks with the buttstock having been cleaned and the forestock retaining most of its original factory finish.
