SMITH & WESSON #3 RUSSIAN 3RD MODEL JAPANESE CONTRACT REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Russian. Blued finish, 6-1/2” reissued keyhole ribbed bbl with integral front sight , reversed curve finger rest on the trigger guard, 2-pc ivory grips. Japanese acceptance mark on the top strap. SN 4754. CONDITION: Good to very good. Retains 40-50% thinning original blue with the balance a light patina with scattered light surface rust. One or two batter screws. Bbl, cylinder and latch are numbered 4752. Bright shiny bore, fine mechanics. Replacement grips are fine. 4-47923 JR48 (Anderson Collection) (2,000-3,000)
