SMITH & WESSON 2ND MODEL RUSSIAN JAPANESE CONTRACT REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Russian. Blued finish, 7” keyhole ribbed bbl with pinned half moon steel front sight, Japanese acceptance mark on the top strap and 2-pc smooth walnut grips with a lanyard loop in the butt. SN 7761. CONDITION: Good. Frame retains about 50-60% thinning original blue, bbl has blue in the sheltered areas with the balance overall a light patina turned plum on the grip frame, grips are matching numbered, cylinder is unnumbered, latch is numbered 5170, bbl is numbered to the frame.
