WILLIAM & MARY STYLE ANTIQUE WALNUT FALL FRONT DESK. In one piece with the top section having a fall front lid which has a decorative inlaid burl panel surrounded by a band of cross veneers surrounding tightly burled panels. The interior fitted with four drawers and two shelves. The back of the desk suitable for the middle of a room. It is decorated with line and burl inlay, a scroll deep carved apron all resting on four trumpet carved and turned legs with a carved X-stretcher. Original key is present. SIZE: 40-1/2” h x 42” at widest x 21-1/2” d. CONDITION: Slight warp to top at ends of lid. Otherwise very good. 9-28873 (400-800)
