QUEZAL THREADED AND DECORATED VASE. This truly outstanding Quezal vase is decorated with a green and white pulled feather design which is in turn topped with a bright gold iridescent pulled feather design. The vase is further decorated with an applied gold iridescent band running vertically from each point of the cut-out rim to the underside edge of the pontel. Each vertical applied band is connected by a series of horizontal thin gold iridescent threads. The horizontal threads also extend onto the underside of the vase. The interior of the vase is finished with a rich gold iridescence with purple highlights. Signed on the bottom “Quezal 767” with artist’s initial “P”. SIZE: 3-3/4″ h.
