BLACK KESTNER HILDA BABY DOLL. Rarely found black bisque version of the popular Hilda baby. The head is incised “F. Made in Germany 10 245 J.D.K. Jr. 1914 Hilda”. This cabinet size baby has brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with two upper teeth and separately molded tongue, black mohair wig over original plaster pate on a five piece bent limb body wearing an antique white cotton baby dress and matching bonnet. SIZE: 12-1/2″ (32cm). CONDITION: Excellent bisque with possible touch-up to paint on arms. 1-8414 RS (1,500-2,500)
