*SMITH & WESSON 455 TRIPLE LOCK REVOLVER. Cal. 455 Colt. Blued finish, 6-1/2” bbl, fixed sights, British proofs, diamond checkered, medallion walnut grips. Caliber is not marked on the bbl. There has been a lanyard loop installed through the serial in the butt, apparently by the factory, as the serial number is stamped on the left side of the grip frame under the grip. Given the factory rework of the butt, it is possible the rechambing was accomplished at the same time. SN 9693. CONDITION: Good, all matching including the grips. Retains about 85% original blue going dull, with fine surface rust and pitting. Grips are sound with moderate wear. Lanyard loop is missing.
