LARGE METTLACH TANKARD. Wonderful large Mettlach tankard is decorated with a pub scene with inscription below “Die Alton Deutschen Tranken Stets Noch Cins”. Tankard is topped with an ornate pewter cover with ornate thumb pad. Signed on the underside with impressed castle mark “Mettlach VB 1578”. SIZE: 19-1/2” t.
