DOUBLE BARREL FLINTLOCK POCKET PISTOL. NSN. 41 Cal. 4-1/4” ribbed bbl. The iron bbl and tang are covered with sheet brass formed to fit and then engraved. Iron ramrod. The stock is carved with a floral design at the rear of the bbl tang and with lines along the forearm. The locks also have engraved lines around the outer edges. The brass buttcap and triggerguard are lightly engraved. Both locks have safety dogs added at the rear of the lockplate. Faceted brass ramrod pipe. CONDITION: Brass overlay has come loose around both touchholes, exposing the bbl. Lockplates have a smooth, gray patina with some wear to the engraving. Stock has been cracked and repaired through the wrist at the rear of the trigger guard. Triggerguard has also been repaired at this area and the end may be a replacement. Stock is fine. Action is mechanically fine except for the loose frizzens. 4-58410 FS751 (800-1,200)
