INTERESTING VICTORIAN WALNUT FOLDING CHAIR. Possibly Hunzinger but we have been unable to find an exact match. The armless chair has upholstered seat and over-upholstered back. The frame with burl walnut trim and incised line decoration. Two turned stretchers and decorative crest. The bottom board branded twice “Patented Jan. 16 1872”. The bottom boards are hinged as well as the bottom seat. SIZE: 36-1/2” h x 16” seat h. CONDITION: Upholstery as is, cleats added to prevent folding. Old dirty finish, good. 9-26233 (100-200)
