CONVERTED COLT THIRD MODEL DRAGOON REVOLVER. SN 11907. Cal. 44 RF. 7-1/2” part oct bbl. This is a gunsmith conversion with the rear end of the cylinder turned down and an extension added. The lightweight loading gate has an ear extending to the rear for operation. All of the cylinder stop notches are blown. The wedge is inserted backwards and is jammed into place. CONDITION: Rust brown patina overall with moderate pitting. Ivory grips have been repaired and varnished. Mechanically needs adjustment.
